I love the different modules. Currently, I work on legal issues, contracts and entity management, whose separate modules help keep everything very clean and organized. I like the fact that users can submit their contract request through a portal and check the status and grades. The suppliers listed were just a few we priced, we tried to reach as many people as possible to make sure we got the right product we needed. Legalsuite trumped everything. He had the different modules, he had the workflows, he had the attention to all the areas we needed. It is a very robust system, easy to use and very organized. Overall, it was also the best price. This is the biggest value for money, other providers have not compared. Meditract did not have the different modules.

It was a very simple database that did not have the different functions to deal with legal issues, real estate, entity management, etc. It was simply a contract database that stored agreements for you, and recently they were upgraded to a workflow, but only for contracts. They seemed very disorganized, billing several times and changing the invoice number, but for the same item. They were very disorganized. Implementation has gone relatively well. System upgrades require a full day of downtime.

Support agents are not very available. Nice people when you get them. The situation seems to be improving somewhat. I hope it will continue to improve. It looked good in the presentation and we wanted e-invoicing, but in practice we found that it had a lot of problems and was not superior to our previous system. Also, the user support is not very good. When we contact the help desk staff, they seem receptive to help, they tell us they will fix the problems, but we never listen. Even after making follow-up calls, the answer is the same or they say they couldn`t solve some issues. We do not recommend this system to anyone.

International clientele. Need for more standard operators targeting the US market (50 states) The reporting feature is absolutely horrible and virtually non-existent. We can`t get the simple reports we used to get from the previous “CaseTrack” system unless we pay for custom reports. Creating reports to get even basic information is not intuitive and very complicated, and we cannot get reports on the information contained in the system. The layout of the reports generated by the system is poor – especially for e-invoicing reports. And information is often missing from reports, even though there are columns for information. For example, under a column intended to display “Expenditures” instead of the dollar amount of expenses entered, the word “Expenditures” appears in the column instead of a dollar amount. E-invoicing reports are often erroneous – there are often multiple listings of the same invoice and all are added to the totals, so the totals are fake.

IN ADDITION, assigning user access is very problematic. You must assign them all to one or more modules. For example, we have different groups of users who need access to the Matters module, but some user groups should not have access to everything in the Matters module. We have tried to set up exceptions, we cannot find a way to exclude certain groups from access to the whole module. It doesn`t work for us, so we have some groups that have access to questions they shouldn`t have. ALSO, we don`t like separate modules and the fact that you can`t move things between modules. A great product offers cost-effective risk management tools The only advantage is that we can track all the issues in the system. Otherwise, the system will fall far short of our expectations and, in many ways, will not be as good as our previous system. It had many desirable features and was inexpensive. I am satisfied with the whole contract handling and price negotiations, the support is very friendly.

I wish the training was a little more clumsy and distributed to help set up the system, this could be a mistake on my part because I did not ask the “right” questions. I am too satisfied with the system and it seems that when I have questions, they are there to answer them. The support is very thin. A large portion of the support staff is located in Europe and does not work on an American time zone/calendar. I don`t like the separation of the portal from the actual contract modules. We have business owners that we need to submit contract requests, the application process is excellent, except that there are two different links to view the actual contracts if the user is read-only, and then another link to submit and track your request. It would be great if you could have a build request in the contract module so they don`t have to be moved to another location for portal requests. The GaLexy product has good features when it comes to capturing, storing, and searching documents.

The technical service takes a long time to get back to us on our tickets. The staff is very knowledgeable, probably overloaded. We were looking for a more interactive system, including e-invoicing, which we didn`t have with our last system. But we have had so many problems with this system that we have not yet implemented the electronic invoicing system. I had very few issues with the Legal Suite program, and when I encountered issues (all of which were very minor in nature), I received prompt support. Updates never get it right the first time. That is, if we have a deployment for an update (which in many cases is used to solve technical problems), we often have to do another because some custom functions have disappeared.
